Lisa – Founder, Director

Lisa Donaldson is a tech evangelist! She is GM at the Ormeau Baths Innovation Centre, a City Lead with Women Who Code Belfast, sits on the executive of Women In Tech (Lean In), a Code Club mentor and a STEM Ambassador. She also founded the emerging Tech Education Network whose purpose is to share just how fulfilling a career in Tech can be with our young people and the wider community.

Lisa’s passion is to encourage returners, new entrants, entrepreneurs, creative innovators and our young in every Tech ambition they have. She believes you are never too young – or too old, to learn, create and form new relationships.

Julie – Director

A Self-confessed Tech Geek, Dreamer, Director, Entrepreneur & STEM Ambassador, with a vision of building a strong community network that can inspire current and future generations. Previous UU Student who studied Design for Visual Communication with a diverse career in Graphic Design, Advertising, Management & IT Recruitment. Julie is passionate about bridging the gap between Education and Employment and giving everyone the chance to learn new Technical skills. She is the current Recruitment Director & Founder of Graffiti Recruitment and is on a mission to make tech accessible, relevant and ensure the current employment Skills Gap within Tech is reduced.

Zoe – Director

Software engineering student and mum to a toddler. Passionate about making a difference and making sure everyone has access to develop themselves professionally and personally. Clueless as to what to do in life but as long as it involves code, cake and changing the world, it’ll be alright.

Fiona – Secretary, Chair

UUB Design graduate with post-grad IT study in Web Dev/Programming.
Former web/graphic designer, Design/IT/ICT educator in FE and 3rd sector curriculum/CPD manager in Creative Digital Tech/CS.
Currently PT vocational ICT tutor/assessor, STEM ambassador, CAS NI board secretary, Raspberry Pi certified educator and TEN committee member. Proud mum of 2 little ‘uns, passionate about creativity and inclusion in STEAM!



Currently completing a degree in Interactive Multimedia Design at Ulster University and learning Product Design in industry placement. Loves design, front end web development and doing lettering and calligraphy in her free time. Passionate about promoting technology and design as amazing and rewarding careers for young people to pursue!

Thembi has  worked in IT industry for more than 20 years. She has completed a National Diploma in Information Technology in Cape Peninsula University of Technology in South Africa, completed BA in Professional Development Leadership and Management with Dundee University, certificate in Leading effective boards (Queens University) and post graduation certificate in ILM Level 7 in Leadership and Management.  She is a STEM ambassador as she has an interest to encourage youngsters to consider STEM as the subject of choice. She is married with a daughter. She is currently serving as school governor in St Mary’s  Primary school and in the look out for more opportunities.
